Policy Baseline for “Reducing the Vulnerability of Pastoral Communities”

Policy Baseline for “Reducing the Vulnerability of Pastoral Communities”

This research project laid a cornerstone for DRR advocacy by the consortium of international organisations implementing the Regional Learning and Advocacy Programme (REGLAP) for Vulnerable Dryland Communities in Horn of Africa. It involved producing a baseline appraisal report of national, international and donor policies affecting pastoralist communities in Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda. This enabled the international organisations and communities to monitor their work’s progress, and to evaluate the impact of their advocacy interventions.
